Mike Keane is a director and lead engineer on the Alex Eroadster project.  He is former head of engineering at Williams Engineering (Williams F1). Mike really has had an extraordinary career.  He has worked on some of the most ground breaking electric car technologies for companies such as Nissan, Jaguar, Aston Martin to name but a few.  He was the lead engineer on the amazing Nissan Bladeglider concept car showcased at the Rio Olympics.  He managed the technical team on the astonishing Aston Martin Rapide E.  He also led the Williams team that built 5 stunning Jaguar C-X75 stunt cars for the James Bond film Spectre.  


Tom Finnegan is the CEO of Fintos Electric Cars. Having had a science background and having originally worked in the Engineering Department of Irish Rail he has a wealth of knowledge to bring to the project. He has a background in the green energy sector. He has spent the last 25 years working on and developing his ideas for a lightweight electric car.  

In recent years he has built a prototype of an electric sports car loosely based on the Lotus 7, which uses a lightweight semi-space frame chassis coupled with integrated aluminium honeycomb composite to provide a lightweight robust chassis.  It is powered by a brushless DC motor driving the back wheels.  Battery power is supplied by a bank of 24 160Ah Lithium-ion batteries.
